What We DO
Bat For A Chance is a charity which helps the underprivileged experience the joy of cricket and bring about social change through access to the sport. We do this in two ways: through the distribution of kit and by funding cricket specific projects.
We collect and source clothing and equipment, both new and high-quality second hand, for dispatch to schools, clubs and academies all around the world.
We fund cricket-focussed projects which offer a lasting impact on underprivileged communities across the globe (such as coaching programmes, a girls cricket club, a bat repair shop).
To help, you can donate your unused or second-hand cricket clothing and equipment via your school or local club. Alternatively you can make a financial donation to support our projects.
1,000 FREE
CRICKET KITS
This summer, we’re embarking on our biggest initiative ever: Changing the Batting Order
We will provide 1,000 free cricket starter kits to underserved primary schools and community centres across England, Wales and Scotland — breaking down the first barrier to entry that so many children face in cricket.
Community centres should get in touch with our partners Sported UK for details on how to get involved. Primary schools can apply for kit using the below link.
Applications close on the 15th May 2026.
