What We Do
Bat For A Chance is a charitable initiative set up by Will Gaffney. It aims to help the underprivileged experience the joy of cricket and bring about social change through access to sport. The charity does this in 2 ways: through the distribution of kit and by funding cricket specific projects.
We collect and source clothing and equipment, both new and high-quality second hand, for dispatch to schools, clubs and academies all around the world.
We fund cricket projects (eg – coaching program, a girls cricket club, a bat repair shop) with a view to leaving a lasting impact on underprivileged communities across the globe.
To help, you can donate your unused or second-hand cricket clothing and equipment via your school or local club. Alternatively you can make a financial donation to support our projects.
